Spiral69 returns, the draft between new / dark wave pop of Riccardo Sabetti. "No Paint on the Wall" is his second album, produced by Megasound and distributed by Zebralution / Megasound. It has been almost two years since his last work, "A Filthy Lesson for Lovers" (Megasound 2009), in the meantime something has changed. How locked in a room without light, the music of Spiral69 comes out of a chrysalis and become more aggressive with itself. Torn from troubled thoughts, in what should be the walls of a room that is used to understand or get away from fears and weaknesses, the sound of "No Paint on the Wall" ends up creating a condensate of eleven ballads that smell of sex and desperation .
So the prospects for change: love becomes a penance to be served, God is an enemy, death is the only way to understand that we are alive, sex is an obsession. "No Paint on the Wall" is the evolution of style and composition created from the production "on the road" of the tracks. It is during the tour of the previous album, in fact, that was organized team work which - unlike the previous album (written, arranged and played by Riccardo Sabetti) - Licia Missori directly involving the piano, on drums Stefano Conigliaro and Enzo Russo on guitars. Bass and piano become key instruments on the album, rhythmic power and tenacity define the contours. The pattern of bows (Andrea Ruggiero) weaves its sweetness and a deeper voice, more emotionally dense, retains all representing the mood of the solution and the synthesis of Spiral69.
